Lunde currently has a consulting practice that focuses
on two primary areas: Market Strategy for both consumer
packaged goods manufacturers and food retailers - and
strategic consulting for e-business concept development
and applications implementation.
Lunde is
currently assisting clients with the strategic and tactical
implications arising from the issuance of new accounting
requirements and The Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.
Prior to founding
his practice, Lunde held senior management positions at
Leo Burnett, ActMedia, Price Chopper Supermarkets, Grand
Union and Super Valu, and earned an industry-wide reputation
as an innovator and implementer in retail marketing, promotion
and distribution. Dennet Whittington and Ron Lunde are credited
with developing the frequent shopper program that now serves
as the primary model used by the food industry while at
Price Chopper Supermarkets. He is also regarded as the first
implementer of category management programs and systems
while at Grand Union. Articles written by Lunde have appeared
in Ad Age, Brand Marketing, and GMA’s Forum Magazine.
Ron is a frequent industry speaker and university lecturer
and has traveled extensively for the U.S. State Department
and Department of Agriculture to assist emerging Eastern
European economies build consumer-driven retail marketing
structures.
