This March 2004 report issued by Aberdeen Group (and sponsored to us through Demantra, Inc. and CAS) discusses the widening gap between companies that strategically optimize processes and the majority of companies still addressing Trade Promotion Management on an ad hoc basis. The report focuses on some of the most critical issues in TPM, including the need for improved analytics and planning, as well as the need for better collaboration between retailers and manufacturers.
